Good for video games like FPS. The click latency is very low and feels responsive. The mouse is also fairly lightweight if you can eliminate the cable's weight. The mouse has a symmetrical design with two side buttons on each side, which gives you more inputs. It has a wide CPI range that's customizable, but its sensor consistency seemed a bit off during testing.

Very good for FPS games. Its click latency is low and responsive, but it isn't the most lightweight mouse, even when taking out all the available weights. The mouse is very well-built and feels comfortable when using a claw or palm grip, although it's a bit big for small hands.

The Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED is a good mouse for FPS gaming. It has great click latency and a comfortable shape that's well-suited for most hand sizes and grip types. All its six buttons are programmable, and its sensor performance is excellent. Due to its small size, it isn't an ideal choice for larger hands. Also, it's heavy compared to many gaming mice on the market, and aside from custom modifications, there aren't any weight optimization options.

The Nixeus REVEL Fit is good for FPS gaming, but it's heavy, and its mouse feet don't glide as smoothly as other mice. Also, its rubber cable isn't very flexible, and it may catch onto things on your desk. That said, it has a low latency, a low lift-off distance, a wide CPI range, and a set CPI that you can adjust in increments of 100. It's suitable for almost all hand sizes with any grip type.

The Mad Catz R.A.T. 2+ is a good FPS gaming mouse, but it has high click latency. Its rubber cable isn't very flexible, and its mouse feet don't glide as smoothly as most gaming mice. Also, the plastic surfaces that make up the body feel cheap and pliable. That said, it's well suited for all grip types, but only for small and medium-sized hands. It has a low lift-off distance, a reasonably wide CPI range, and a CPI you can adjust by increments of 100. Unfortunately, the sensor on our unit is very inaccurate. It undershoots the set CPI substantially during slow and fast cursor movements.

The Microsoft Pro IntelliMouse is a good FPS gaming mouse. It feels well-built, has mouse feet that glide well on mousepads, and has an ergonomic shape ideal for all grip types, though only for larger hands. It also has a wide CPI range, a CPI you can adjust by increments of 50, and a very low lift-off distance. Unfortunately, it's heavy, and its cable isn't very flexible. Also, although the click latency is good, it may not feel responsive enough for some players.

The BenQ ZOWIE ZA11-B is good for FPS gaming. It feels well-built and should be comfortable for most hand sizes, although people with smaller hands may struggle with a fingertip grip. The click latency is good and should feel responsive enough to most people. Unfortunately, it has a very narrow CPI range, and you're limited to the four CPI presets already on the mouse since there's no customization software.

The Logitech M705 is a very good mouse for office use that feels sturdy and has a comfortable, right-slanted ergonomic shape that's suitable for all hand sizes depending on grip type. It connects wirelessly with a USB receiver but doesn't support Bluetooth. It only has five programmable inputs, but the scroll wheel has L/R tilt buttons, and you can unlock it for free-scrolling. It has companion software compatible with both Windows and macOS, though it doesn't offer many options.

The Razer Naga X is excellent for MMO gaming. It feels well-built and is suitable for medium and large hands using a palm or claw grip. Also, there's a unique finger rest on its right side for your third finger to rest on. It has an excellent number of buttons, all of which can be remapped to whatever you want. It has a 12-button layout on its left side, and you can also set a HyperShift button to give you a second layer of programmable options. It has a very good click latency, a high maximum polling rate, and a very wide CPI range with decently precise adjustment steps.

The ROCCAT Tyon is a decent mouse for FPS games. While it has a low click latency and excellent sensor performance, unfortunately, it's a heavy mouse which may not be ideal for FPS games. Its cable is also quite stiff and may drag on your desk unless you use a bungee. The mouse itself is quite large, and people with small hands will have a hard time reaching all the buttons regardless of grip type.
