Razer Naga X

The Razer Naga X is excellent for MMO gaming. It feels well-built and is suitable for medium and large hands using a palm or claw grip. Also, there's a unique finger rest on its right side for your third finger to rest on. It has an excellent number of buttons, all of which can be remapped to whatever you want. It has a 12-button layout on its left side, and you can also set a HyperShift button to give you a second layer of programmable options. It has a very good click latency, a high maximum polling rate, and a very wide CPI range with decently precise adjustment steps.

The Razer Naga X offers a best-in-class sensor, 16 programmable buttons and a great shape. Razer needs to improve the ergonomics of its 12-button thumbpad though, and the Naga X misses what felt like standard features in the more expensive Naga Trinity and Naga Pro. For $20 more, the Naga Trinity is a better choice, and the lower-end competition has gotten better too.

Featuring an ergonomic build, a strong sensor, and a lightweight design, the Razer Naga Pro is an MMO mouse for competitive players. It could use a few more extras, though.

The Razer Naga X is a great mouse, albeit one that feels more like an entry level option due to the amount of missing features and small changes. Still, the lightweight design, improved internals, and cable make it a solid buy at the $79.99 asking price.
