The HyperX Pulsefire Core is a good FPS gaming mouse. It feels very well-built, and it has an ambidextrous shape suitable for nearly all hand sizes using any grip type. It has a fairly wide CPI range and a CPI you can adjust by increments of 100. It also has a low lift-off distance, though it isn't as low as many other gaming mice. Unfortunately, it has high click latency, and some gamers may prefer a more responsive-feeling option.

The Razer Basilisk Essential is decent for FPS gaming. It feels well-built and is suitable for all grip types for almost all hand sizes with any grip type. It has a low lift-off distance, a high polling rate, and a fairly consistent sensor. While its CPI range isn't as wide as some other gaming options, it should be good enough for most gamers. Unfortunately, its click latency is fairly high and may not feel responsive enough during fast-paced games. Also, the mouse is heavy, and its cable isn't very flexible.

The Logitech M535 is a good travel mouse. It connects via Bluetooth, it has great portability, and it should be easy to fit in most laptop bags. It feels well-built, and both the mouse and the software are compatible with macOS and Windows. Unfortunately, it's only suitable for small or medium-sized hands using a fingertip grip or those with small hands using a claw grip.

The Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum is good for FPS gaming. It has low click latency, it feels well-built, and it has a comfortable right-handed shape that's well-suited for larger hands using any grip type. It also has a sniper button that lets you shift to a custom CPI setting while it's held. Unfortunately, it's heavy, its cable isn't very flexible, and the mouse feet don't glide well directly on desks. The sensor on our model is also fairly inconsistent and undershoots during fast cursor movements.

The SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless is great for FPS games. It's light and wireless so that you can move freely, and gaming feels smooth and responsive thanks to its low click latency and high polling rate. Unfortunately, you can only adjust the sensitivity in increments of 100 CPI, which might disappoint serious gamers who want to fine-tune the performance settings. The build quality is decent, but there's some creaking and flexing when pressing hard on the plastic body.
