The ROCCAT Burst Core is an amazing mouse for FPS gaming. It's lightweight, has very low click latency, and sturdy-feeling build quality. It's also well-suited for all grip types, though if you have small hands, you may not be able to reach both side buttons with a claw or fingertip grip. Unfortunately, its rubber cable is only decently flexible and tends to curl up. This mouse also has a high lift-off distance, so if you frequently reposition by lifting your mouse, you may have to raise your mouse higher than usual to avoid the sensor from tracking.

The HyperX Pulsefire Haste is an excellent FPS gaming mouse. It has a honeycomb design that makes it very lightweight, while still feeling well-built and durable. Its click latency is very good, so most gamers won't notice any delays, and it has excellent feet that provide a smooth gliding experience. Its design is quite universal, and only people with smaller hands may find it hard to use it with a fingertip grip.

The ROCCAT Burst Pro is an amazing ultra-light gaming mouse. It’s extremely lightweight, in part due to its honeycomb interior shell. Its sensor has a wide CPI range and a high polling rate, and its click latency is amazingly low, giving you a very responsive gaming experience. The mouse has outstanding feet that glide well, and it feels comfortable for most hand sizes using any grip type.

The Razer Viper is good for office use. While it doesn't have an ergonomic shape like some dedicated office mice, it should still feel very comfortable for most hand sizes using a claw or fingertip grip, but people with small or medium hands may also be comfortable with a palm grip. It feels very well-built and has many buttons you can reprogram to fit your needs; unfortunately, its customization software isn't available on macOS. Also, it isn't wireless, and some people might find the cable cumbersome.

The SteelSeries Rival 3 is a great mouse for FPS games. The mouse is quite lightweight, and all of its buttons can be programmed, including the L/R clicks and up/down scrolls. The sensor performance is excellent, and it has very good click latency. Unfortunately, the side buttons can be a bit difficult to press, and the fairly recessed mouse wheel may not be for everyone. While small hands may have a tough time with fingertip grip, the shape is well-suited for a claw grip for all hand sizes.

Very good for video games like FPS. It has amazing performance and can be customized to suit your preferences, but it isn't the lightest option. On the upside, its click latency is decently low and the mouse feels responsive. It also has a few programmable buttons, which is good. It's also suitable for most hand sizes, although people with small hands might feel like their hand posture is awkward when using the claw or fingertip grip.

The Logitech G602 is a very good mouse for playing MMO games. Its shape is comfortable for long hours of gaming and it has a lot of side buttons for instant access to your spells and abilities. It feels responsive and its wireless click latency is low enough that you won't notice any delay.

The Nightsword will likely take some getting used to, but its unorthodox shape works surprisingly well, particularly in shooters. It's not without its flaws, though.

Corsair’s Katar Elite Wireless mouse is a small step up, in specs from the previous generation — but it’s a steep step up in price.

The SteelSeries Aerox 5 Wireless is a very good MMO gaming mouse, though it doesn't have quite as many side buttons as some dedicated MMO gaming mice. That said, you can reprogram all of the buttons it has using the customization software. The build quality feels very good, and the mouse has a comfortable right-handed shape, though it's best suited for larger hands. Performance-wise, it has very good click latency and a very broad CPI range. Unfortunately, you can't adjust the set CPI as precisely as you can on many other premium gaming mice.
