The BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P offers everything an aspiring competitive gamer needs for smooth gaming performance including a 144Hz refresh rate, a 1ms response time speed, low input lag, and an excellent motion blur reduction technology implementation. However, it has narrow viewing angles and inferior image quality to some equally fast alternatives.

The Acer G257HU is an alright monitor for mixed usage. It has an excellent contrast ratio, but very bad black uniformity so it isn't a good choice for a dim room. The stand is mediocre and has almost no ergonomic adjustments, and it can't be VESA mounted. The IPS panel delivers good viewing angles and excellent gray uniformity.

The Mobile Pixels TRIO is an okay office monitor. It's designed for extra productivity when on the go. The small size and high-resolution screen result in great text clarity - but only if it's mounted on the right-hand side of your screen. Unfortunately, if you mount it on the left, the display will be flipped, resulting in worse text clarity. Other than that, it has outstanding gray uniformity and decent viewing angles, but like most IPS monitors, it has low contrast.

It seems that these days, no gaming monitor has everything. BenQ has created a unique product but a couple of omissions make the buying decision more difficult. Discriminating users will want G-Sync/FreeSync and at least QHD resolution. But others may be attracted to the extra-tight curvature and the gorgeous AMVA panel. Ultimately, it's up to the buyer to decide which features matter most.

The ViewSonic VX2452mh is a reasonably priced 24-inch gaming monitor that delivers blur-free action without using a lot of power. Its color and grayscale performance are good, but not great, and it loses luminance and color fidelity when viewed from an angle.

The AOC I1601FWUX won’t wow you with its image quality, but it feels more premium than the price tag suggests.

The Lepow Z1 is an okay portable office monitor. It has a relatively high pixel density and great text clarity, good reflection handling, amazing gray uniformity, and low input lag. Unfortunately, the ergonomics are terrible, which we expect for a portable monitor, and the viewing angles are mediocre, so it's difficult to place in an ideal viewing position. It also can't display some colors accurately, so if your work relies on accurate colors, this might not be a good choice.

The HP 22cwa delivers an amazing image quality for its price thanks to the Full HD resolution and IPS panel. However, it lacks certain features that are now available in modern budget monitors.

The LG 24GL600F is a budget gaming monitor for competitive gamers looking for both FreeSync and Motion Blur Reduction. In case you’re not a fan of backlight strobing, you may want to check out other alternatives at this price range.

The MSI Optix MAG161V is a mediocre office monitor. The small screen is best-suited as a secondary display when working on the go. It has excellent gray uniformity, great text clarity, and outstanding low input lag. Surprisingly, the viewing angles are mediocre, which is a bit worse than usual for an IPS panel, and unfortunately, the stand has terrible ergonomics. Finally, it's not a great choice if your work requires accurate colors, as it has a disappointing SDR color gamut and poor color volume.
