Though the Dell G3223Q doesn’t beat the competition on color volume or contrast, it is one of the quickest 4K 144 Hz monitors I’ve tested. If you place a high priority on gaming performance, give it strong consideration.

The Acer Predator XB271HU delivers a flawless gameplay experience thanks to G-SYNC, ULMB, fast response time, high refresh rate, and low input lag.

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG34VQL1B is an excellent gaming monitor. It has a large, high-resolution screen to provide incredible immersion, and its low input lag and high refresh rate result in amazingly responsive gameplay. Unfortunately, even though it has excellent response time, it's a bit slow in the dark transitions, causing noticeable smearing in fast-moving content. On the upside, it has a high contrast ratio that makes it well-suited for gaming in the dark.

The ASUS PA278CV is good for media creation. The 1440p resolution delivers a sharp image, and the 27 inch size offers plenty of space to open multiple windows side-by-side. It has an excellent color gamut with good coverage of the Adobe RGB color space, though it may not be enough for professional photo editing. On the upside, it has wide viewing angles, so the image stays accurate from almost any angle. It also has extra features like a built-in ruler and screen overlays to help measure and align content.

Very good for office use. The Dell UltraSharp U2520D has a high 1440p resolution and its 25-inch screen is big enough for multitasking. It has wide viewing angles, so you can share your screen with others and not lose image accuracy. Sadly, its reflection handling is just okay and it doesn't handle direct sunlight well. On the upside, it has impressive ergonomics, so you can place the monitor however you like.

The ASUS PG279Q is a very good monitor for most uses. It's an outstanding gaming monitor with clear motion and low input lag. The high-resolution screen, wide viewing angles, and great ergonomics also make it a great office monitor. It doesn't support HDR or wide color gamuts, but it's still a good monitor for media creation or watching videos, but like most IPS monitors, it doesn't look as good in a dark room.

The ASUS VG27WQ1B is a decent gaming monitor if you’re familiar with the usual downsides of budget VA panels. However, there are a few similar monitors by other brands that you should also check out.

The BenQ EX3210U is a decent 32″ 4K 144Hz IPS monitor. It has plenty of premium features that some users might find useful, but it’s also rather expensive. In addition, it has subpar factory calibration and SDR brightness; there are better alternatives for the money.
