The eufy RoboVac 11S is okay to use on bare floors. It has decent performance on this surface as it easily cleans small debris like rice and it's good with large debris like cereal. Sadly, it's disappointing at cleaning hair. It's also difficult to maintain and there are a lot of recurring costs. On the upside, it has an adequately-sized dirt compartment for a robot vacuum.

The Roomba 675 is iRobot's least expensive robot vacuum with Wi-Fi connectivity, giving you app control, scheduling, and voice support in addition to excellent cleaning capabilities.

The Roomba 980 is iRobot's best robotic vacuum yet, adding Wi-Fi and app control for even easier home cleaning, but the price for convenience is higher than ever.

The Shark EZ Robot Vacuum is decent for bare floors. It clears pet hair and small debris without issue, though it struggles somewhat with bulky material. It feels well-built, has a long battery life, and offers a fairly wide range of automation features, including its self-emptying dustbin. Unfortunately, many parts need regular cleaning. Recurring costs are also high, with many components needing periodic replacement. Also, while it can do a good job of maneuvering itself, it generally won't climb over obstacles like power cables and may treat them as solid barriers rather than low obstacles.

The iRobot Roomba 614 is okay on bare floors. It easily clears fine debris like baking soda and doesn't have many issues with bulkier material like cereal. It also has an impressive build quality. However, it struggles with pet hair, which tends to clump up and get stuck on the brushroll, and has fairly demanding maintenance needs.

The ILIFE A4s Pro is mediocre for bare floors. It really struggles to pick up pet hair and large debris like cereal can easily fill up the dirt compartment, putting a temporary halt to its cleaning job. It does a significantly better job picking up small debris though. Still, this vacuum has a lot of parts that need regular maintenance and replacement over time.

The iRobot Roomba E5 is an okay choice for cleaning bare floors. It cleans small and bulky debris like rice or cereal easily, though it can struggle with the latter as its dustbin fills up. It also may take an extra pass to fully clean pet hair on this floor type. While its battery life isn't especially long compared to some alternatives, it charges very quickly. It also feels impressively sturdy. Unfortunately, many parts need regular cleaning or replacing.

The Proscenic X1 is an attractive and versatile robot vacuum cleaner offered at a reasonable price. But flaws including a poor app, a disjointed user experience and somewhat shonky navigation make it hard to wholeheartedly recommend.

The new Yeedi Vac 2 Pro is a robot vacuum with obstacle detection, oscillating mopping, and smart mapping for $450. But some software features need improvement.

The iRobot Roomba i3 is good for bare floors. This vacuum feels very well-built, does a great job maneuvering itself around obstacles, and recharges very quickly. It's effective in cleaning small and bulky debris from bare floors, though it struggles somewhat when dealing with pet hair. It also incurs high recurring costs.
