The SteelSeries Rival 5 is a great FPS gaming mouse. It feels well-built, is somewhat lightweight, and has an ergonomic right-handed shape that's well-suited for all grip types, but it isn't well-suited for small or medium-sized hands. It also has low click latency, a wide CPI range, and a very low lift-off distance. Unfortunately, you can only adjust the CPI by increments of 100. There's also only onboard storage for one profile, and you can only save specific settings.

The Logitech MX Master is remarkable for office use. It feels very well-built and has an ergonomic right-handed shape that's well-suited for palm or claw grip. However, those with small hands likely can't use the mouse using any grip type as it's tall and bulky. It connects wirelessly with a USB receiver or via Bluetooth, and there are plenty of buttons you can program using the companion software compatible with Windows and macOS. It also has a primary scroll wheel that unlocks automatically or manually for free scrolling and a secondary, side-mounted thumb wheel for horizontal scrolling.

The Corsair SABRE PRO is an excellent FPS gaming mouse. It's lightweight, has very low click latency, a flexible cable, and good mouse feet. It's also one of the first mice with an 8000Hz maximum polling rate, which should make cursor movements feel smoother, though this isn't something we currently test. It has a wide CPI range, and you can adjust your CPI by increments of one using the companion software. It also feels well-built and has a comfortable right-handed shape that's well-suited for all grip types, but those with smaller hands may not be able to reach all buttons using a claw or fingertip grip.

The XTRFY M42 is an amazing mouse for ultra-light gaming. Its honeycomb body makes it very lightweight, but it has an overall build quality that feels very sturdy. Its symmetrical shape and swappable back panels make it well-suited to nearly all hand-sizes and grip types, but those with large or extra-large hands may find it too short for a palm grip. Its cable and feet are excellent, and it has very low click latency.

The GLORIOUS Model O is an excellent mouse for FPS games. It has great performance with low click latency, great DPI settings, and an adjustable polling rate. It also feels well-built and should be comfortable enough for marathon gaming sessions. Those with small hands may want to check out the GLORIOUS Model O- instead, as this one may be slightly too large.

The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro is a remarkable FPS gaming mouse. It's extremely lightweight and feels very well built. The ergonomic, right-handed shape is comfortable, though it's best suited for larger-sized hands. The feet glide smoothly on mousepads and desks, the sensor is extremely accurate and consistent, and it has exceptionally low click latency.

The Corsair SABRE RGB PRO WIRELESS is an excellent FPS gaming mouse. It has superb click latency, a very low lift-off distance, and you can adjust the CPI by precise increments within an extremely wide range. Additionally, it supports a maximum polling rate of up to 2000Hz. It's also fairly lightweight, although there are lots of lighter wireless options available. Unfortunately, its feet don't glide as smoothly as those on many similar gaming mice at this price point. Also, it's possible to register unintended mouse clicks when placing the mouse back down after repositioning. This may be because of Corsair's QUICKSTRIKE button technology, which is intended to produce faster clicks.

The SteelSeries Aerox 5 is an excellent ultra-light gaming mouse. At 70g, it's not the most lightweight option available, but it still feels light and comfortable in hand. Overall, it feels well-built, and its click latency is great. While the high quality feet glide smoothly on mousepads and desks, the braided cable retains kinks from the packaging, which can cause additional drag.

The Pwnage Ultra Custom Wireless Symm 2 is an amazing lightweight mouse for gaming. Its weight remains light whether you use the honeycomb or solid palm cover. Its click latency is impressive, and it also has a very low lift-off distance and a very wide CPI range. It feels well-built and comfortable to use, and its virgin-grade PTFE feet offer a very smooth gliding experience on mousepads and desks.
