SteelSeries Rival 5

The SteelSeries Rival 5 is a great FPS gaming mouse. It feels well-built, is somewhat lightweight, and has an ergonomic right-handed shape that's well-suited for all grip types, but it isn't well-suited for small or medium-sized hands. It also has low click latency, a wide CPI range, and a very low lift-off distance. Unfortunately, you can only adjust the CPI by increments of 100. There's also only onboard storage for one profile, and you can only save specific settings.

Packing plenty of shortcut buttons, a generous CPI range and nifty RGB lighting, there’s little you could want from a gaming mouse that you won’t find in the SteelSeries Rival 5. It’s not drastically cheap, but it’s by no means pricey either. A great value-for-money mouse.

Attractive, accurate and durable, the SteelSeries Rival 5 is an outstanding value at $59.99. With an 18,000 DPI sensor and nine programmable buttons, it offers great versatility for different displays and games. If you don’t stick to one genre, the Rival 5 is an inexpensive, one-mouse solution. Plus, its RGB lighting is really well done. For those who tend toward shooters, the Corsair IronClaw RGB is the better option for the same price.
