The Fujifilm X-Pro1 is a top-notch mirrorless camera that is sure to appeal to optical viewfinder fans that are put off by the high price of Leica rangefinders.

The Canon EOS R7 is excellent for sports and wildlife photography. It has a very quick max burst rate and a fairly large image buffer. Its autofocus system supports human, animal, and vehicle subject detection, and it's quite effective at tracking fast-moving subjects. Image quality is also great, though its noise handling is just decent for low-light situations. On top of that, it has a very good battery life for a mirrorless camera.

The Panasonic LUMIX G100 is good for vlogging. It's small and lightweight, so it's easy to take on the go. It also has a fully articulated screen so you can easily monitor yourself as you record. Video quality is good overall, but especially in brighter lighting conditions. However, it lacks in-body image stabilization, and its electronic stabilization feature does a poor job of smoothing out camera shake if you're vlogging without a gimbal. Its autofocus system is also disappointing at tracking moving faces.

The Fujifilm X-S10 puts a proven image sensor into a camera body with a big grip that's better for telephoto lenses, and in-body stabilization for blur-free photos and video.

The Canon EOS RP is great for landscape photography. Images are sharp and mostly free of graininess, even when you step up its ISO setting to compensate for poor lighting conditions. It also feels quite sturdy and is comfortable to use, though it isn't as easy to carry around on a hike compared to a phone camera or a point-and-shoot. It has a sharp touchscreen that's bright enough to be seen even under direct sunlight. Unfortunately, its kit lens exhibits noticeable light falloff, so the corners of your image may be noticeably darker than the middle.

The Nikon Z5 is very good for landscape photography. It takes clean, detailed photos and performs well even at high ISO settings in low light. There are also some very high-quality wide-angle lenses available for Nikon's Z mount that are perfect for landscape photography. The camera's also well-built and weather-sealed, though it isn't the most portable option.

The Canon EOS R10 wows with an autofocus system that smartly recognizes and tracks subjects, but older sensor tech keeps it from being the best camera you can buy at this price.
