Panasonic LUMIX G100
The Panasonic LUMIX G100 is good for vlogging. It's small and lightweight, so it's easy to take on the go. It also has a fully articulated screen so you can easily monitor yourself as you record. Video quality is good overall, but especially in brighter lighting conditions. However, it lacks in-body image stabilization, and its electronic stabilization feature does a poor job of smoothing out camera shake if you're vlogging without a gimbal. Its autofocus system is also disappointing at tracking moving faces.

I’m usually wary of cameras targeting vloggers. Cameras in this class are often dumbed down and made by cutting as many corners as possible to keep the price low. The results are typically disappointing. But Panasonic has shown social media creatives due respect with the Lumix G100 by giving it great ergonomics, decent manual controls, a viewfinder and attractive specs. There are still a couple of let downs that I feel could have been easily avoided though. For example: opting for a dated USB 2.0 Type-A instead of a USB-C port and no 4K/60p video. Overall however, the Lumix G100 is a great first camera option and a significant step up from a smartphone.
