I think HP EliteBook 840 G9 sturdy business-class laptop do a pretty fantastic job, and I have no hesitation in recommending the EliteBook 840 G9 in 2023 with the likes of the X1 Carbon Gen 10 and the 11. The all-metal construction of the 840 G9 is excellent in every way.
