The Redragon K630 is excellent for gaming. The tactile Brown switches on our unit feel light and responsive thanks to the short pre-travel distance and low operating force. You can customize the RGB backlighting and set macros to any key using the dedicated software. Unfortunately, the keys wobble and rattle a lot. Also, it doesn't come with a wrist rest, but it has a high profile, meaning typing might strain your wrists. Its latency is a bit high, but it's responsive enough for casual gaming or everyday tasks.

The Fnatic miniSTREAK is excellent for gaming. This well-built board has customizable RGB backlighting, and all of its keys are macro-programmable. Our unit has Cherry MX Silent Red switches which feel light and responsive, and it's also available with linear Kailh Speed Silver switches. While its latency isn't as low as some other options, it should still feel very responsive. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a wrist rest, and it only has one incline setting, but you may not need one due to its low profile.

The Razer Huntsman V2 Analog is an exceptional gaming keyboard. It has remarkably low latency, full RGB backlighting, and macro-programmable keys. It features Analog Optical switches that are easy to actuate, and it allows you to customize the pre-travel distance to your liking. You can also use its analog mode for finer movement control; however, it only works in games that support gamepads, and it might take a while to train your fingers to apply the appropriate amount of force.

The Corsair K100 is fantastic for gaming. This very well-built keyboard is comfortable to use, and it has customizable RGB backlighting. The Cherry MX Speed switches have a low operating force and a short pre-travel distance, and the latency is extremely low, with an 8000Hz polling rate. It's also available in Corsair OPX switches, which are advertised as having a shorter pre-travel distance and should feel a bit more responsive. All of the keys are macro-programmable, and there are six dedicated macro keys on the left side.

The Corsair K95 RGB PLATINUM XT is amazing for gaming. The doubleshot PBT keycaps are good and feel stable, and overall the keyboard has an excellent build quality. There are six dedicated programmable macro keys on the left side, and the RGB backlighting is amazing for gaming in the dark. The tactile keys might feel a bit too heavy for gamers, but luckily, it has extremely low click latency.

The Apex Pro is one of the most interesting and exciting keyboards I’ve ever used. It successfully challenges one of the longstanding rules about how to make a mechanical keyboard, which is an achievement in itself. It feels great to type on, play games with, and even just to look at. At $200, it’s costs a pretty penny, but you are getting something special.

The lack of illumination for the secondary functions of keys is a bummer, but otherwise Logitech made smart cuts with the G512 Carbon to hit its $100 price point. Its solid build quality, trio of mechanical switch options, and customizable RGB lighting give you a champagne keyboard on a beer budget. And for those on even tighter budgets (a Lite beer budget?), the Logitech G512 is an attractive option for even less.

The Razer Huntsman TE is a top-notch keyboard for professional gamers. All of the keys may be programmed individually or as a group using the Synapse 3 software, and they have a very quick response time and are lightweight. The legends on the Doubleshot PBT keycaps will last long without fading, and the full RGB lighting is perfect for gaming in the dark. The Razer Huntsman Tournament Edition itself is lightweight and quite responsive. It’s pricey but well worth it if you want speed and portability. It’s one of the few portable tenkeyless keyboards with PBT keycaps, optical switches, lighting, and a lightweight design. Worth every penny if you are into e-sports.

The Logitech MX Keys Mini is good for office use. Its scissor switches feel light and responsive overall. The board is quiet to type on, and while it doesn't come with a wrist rest, it's very low profile and doesn't need one. You can use it wirelessly via Bluetooth and pair it with up to three devices, and you can also use it with the Logi Bolt USB receiver if you buy it separately. Unfortunately, while you can remap some keys, it's limited to a preset list of options, and you can't set any macros, which may bother some people.
