The Logitech G513 is an excellent keyboard for gaming. The tactile switches on our unit offer a light and responsive gaming experience. The frame is made of plastic and aluminum, which feels sturdy and doesn't exhibit any noticeable flex. It has RGB backlighting, which can be customized in the companion software. Unfortunately, the keycaps are made of ABS plastic that feels cheap and will attract oil from your fingertips. Also, while there are macro-programmable keys, they're dedicated to the function buttons only.

The Ducky One 2 TKL is an outstanding keyboard for gaming. The Cherry MX Brown switches on our unit have low pre-travel and don't require a lot of force to actuate. That said, it's available in a wide variety of switches. It has full RGB backlighting, which can be customized with the Ducky RGB companion software. Also, every key is macro-programmable and recording is done on the keyboard. Ergonomics are decent, and while there's no wrist rest, the straight design should be comfortable enough for most people.

The Corsair K70 is an excellent gaming keyboard. Its Cherry MX Speed switches have a short pre-travel distance and low actuation force, making the keys feel incredibly responsive and easy to press. There's very little flex to the board, the ergonomics are good, and there's backlighting, although it's limited to a single color. All keys are macro-programmable, but there aren't any dedicated macro keys for MMO games.

The Logitech K380 is an excellent keyboard for use with mobile devices. It can be used with any device that has a Bluetooth connection, and it has excellent compatibility with most mobile operating systems. It's easy to carry around, and it has a multi-pairing feature so you can pair it with your computer and smartphone at the same time.

The Das Keyboard X50Q is an excellent gaming keyboard. It feels extremely responsive due to the switches' low pre-travel distance, and the low actuation force won't tire you out during long gaming sessions. Its RGB backlighting is great for gaming in the dark, but MMO players may be disappointed with the lack of dedicated macro keys. Sadly, its customization software doesn't allow profile saving, so all profiles need to be saved on the keyboard's onboard memory.

The HyperX Alloy Origins takes all the fundamentals of a gaming keyboard — mechanical switches and RGB lighting — and nails them, though it doesn’t go above and beyond. It’s lighting is excellent and simple to customize, and its gaming performance is the equal of almost all of its contemporaries. All that, and it comes at a truly compelling price that makes it easy to recommend.

The Huntsman packs possibly the finest mass-market key switch available today, in a package which oozes class. Rarely has a keyboard this basic, at this price, earned its asking price so handily.
