The TPG-1200D-P uses quality components and has good build quality. Its performance is good but definitely not record breaking. Only with lower ripple at +12V and a larger hold-up time, it could meet eye-to-eye the top performing units in this high-end category. A lower price would boost its sales, as well.

The SilverStone ST60F-TI features compact dimensions and silent operation, along with Titanium efficiency and a fully modular cabling design. Its notable downsides are the extremely high price and the lower than required hold-up time. In addition, with better ripple suppression at +12V its performance score would be much higher. Currently there is no other Titanium unit with 600W max power available on the market, especially with such small dimensions, so the ST60F-TI plays alone in the field.

Raidmax's RX-700AT is a highly efficient PSU, however it suffers from a low hold-up time and its MSRP puts it in a high competition zone. With a lower price it would be a much more appealing product. Finally, the warranty has been extended to five years (from two) and this shows that Raidmax is willing to follow the competition's example in this area.

Super Flower brings Titanium-class efficiency to the 1 kW category. Its SF-1000F14HT is currently the most efficient PSU in this market segment. In the U.S., wait until EVGA releases its SuperNOVA 1000 T2, which should be identical.

Seasonic's G-450 is a low-capacity PSU with very good build quality and good overall performance. But the unit could be improved if it featured a quieter operation, offered higher efficiency and sold for a lower price.

If you need 1.6kW of power and the most efficient PSU money can buy, then you better save up for Super Flower's Leadex Titanium unit. Unfortunately, it isn't available in the U.S., but there is no need to start searching for it on foreign online stores. Instead, you can get the EVGA 1600 T2, which comes with double the warranty that Super Flower provides, but costs more. Personally, I would buy the Super Flower Leadex Gold 1.6kW or the EVGA 1600 G2, which offer similar performance but at a much lower price.

The EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 P2 carries on the tradition of its series, maintaining excellent build quality and registering top-notch efficiency levels, even at low loads. The optional ECO mode enables very quiet operation at light and medium loads. This is among the best-performing PSUs we've tested and absolutely worth the price tag.

Corsair's HX750i is the company's "entry-level" 80 PLUS Platinum PSU. Despite the solder quality of the auxiliary PCB being so-so, this power supply lives up to Corsair's reputation for quality. The HX750i's fully modular cabling, configurable single- and multi-rail options and silent operation are among the premium features that can sway builders towards this PSU.
