The Razer Kraken X are okay for wired gaming. They a fairly comfortable design. They have an excellent boom microphone that should ensure your teammates hear you clearly. Unfortunately, their sound profile is very bass-heavy, which could overwhelm in-game dialogue or music, and their control scheme is quite basic.

The Skullcandy Venue Wireless are decent for commuting and traveling. They're comfortable for most but might be tight for some people. They also block a good amount of ambient noise but have a lot of self-noise, which will be audible if you’re not playing any audio. Their ANC feature is quite decent, and they don’t leak too much if you don’t blast your music at high volumes. Their long 24-hour battery will be more than enough for flights, and the nice provided case helps protect the headphones when you store them away.

The Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Wireless are fair for wireless gaming. These comfortable headphones have a boom microphone that captures voice clearly but struggles a bit in more noisy environments like a gaming tournament. Their bassy-heavy sound can be good for action games but may be too muddy and dark for dialogue or cinematic cutscenes. These headphones also have console-specific variants and the PS4 variant includes a USB dongle. However, they still have a bit of latency which can impact gameplay.

Good for gaming. The Logitech G433 have a good sound, a great mic, and a wired design with low latency. They're also comfortable and breathable so you can wear them for long gaming sessions without much fatigue. Unfortunately, their wired design means they're not as convenient as the other wireless gaming headsets we've tested since the audio cable doesn't have a lot of range.

The Sony H7 are decent for wireless gaming. These headphones are designed for PlayStation consoles, so you can't use them if you're an Xbox gamer. If that's not a deal-breaker, they come with a wireless USB dongle that you can use to stay connected to your console while simultaneously streaming audio from your Bluetooth device. Their sound profile is also well-suited for action-packed gameplay since they deliver extra boom, which can help emphasize sound effects. However, if you prefer a different sound, their companion app offers a graphic EQ and presets to help you adjust their sound. Unfortunately, they have somewhat high non-Bluetooth wireless latency, so your audio and visuals may fall slightly out of sync.

The JBL Tour One are satisfactory for commute and travel. While they have a comfortable, well-built fit, they're also bulky, which can make them hard to take with you on the go, and their ear cups can trap heat. Their ANC also struggles to block out bus or plane engine noise. On the upside, their over 33 hours of continuous playback time should get you through long days on the road.

They're comfortable enough for long gaming sessions, too. Their bass-heavy sound profile adds thump and punch to action-packed scenes, and if you prefer a different sound, there are a lot of customization options in the Razer Synapse software.

The Puro JuniorJams Wireless are mediocre for mixed use. These decently durable headphones have an excited, v-shaped sound that delivers a thumpy, boomy bass. However, their sound is still suited for a variety of audio content. They also have an excellent battery performance and can be used via Bluetooth or passively with their TRS cable. While they really struggle to cut down noise like bus engines or ambient chatter, they don't leak too much audio.

The Focal Elegia are above-average for neutral listening. They have an extended and powerful bass, a flat and even mid-range, and a decent treble. However, they have a slightly forward sounding mid-range. Overall, they're versatile for a variety of music genres and will please most users. They're also well-padded and comfortable for long listening sessions, and their great build quality will last you years.
