Razer Kraken X
The Razer Kraken X are okay for wired gaming. They a fairly comfortable design. They have an excellent boom microphone that should ensure your teammates hear you clearly. Unfortunately, their sound profile is very bass-heavy, which could overwhelm in-game dialogue or music, and their control scheme is quite basic.

Get the Razer Kraken X if you've got only $50 to spend on a gaming headset and want something small and comfortable. Avoid it if you need something that also sounds great for music.

The Razer Kraken X is a good mid-range headset that gets most of the basics right: it’s comfortable, sounds decent and has a great microphone. Unfortunately, its poor bass performance doesn’t bode well for action and shooter games, where loud and deep explosions are the norm. If you want a blockbuster audio experience, you’ll need to pay more. Otherwise, this remains a great value gaming headset

The Razer Kraken X is a no-frills take on a headset line that already had few frills to offer. For $50 it’s not a bad option, but it rests in the shadow of the standard Kraken, which offers better comfort and sound quality for only $20 to $30 more.
