The JBL Tune 225TWS are good for sports and fitness. They're lightweight and have a stable fit, so they should stay in place during moderate physical exercise. While they block out very little ambient noise, that may be a benefit if you're outdoors and want to stay aware of your surroundings. Unfortunately, they don't have any on-board volume controls, so you need to pull your phone out to make this kind of adjustment.

The JBL Everest 110 are good for sports. The wireless in-ear design is portable and easy to carry around. Also, thanks to their stability fins, they have a secure fit and won’t pop out of your ears while exercising. The small bud design also doesn’t trap heat in your ear and won’t make you sweat more than usual. Unfortunately, they don't have an official IP rating for dust and water resistance.

Samsung's wire-free Galaxy Buds earphones deliver fantastic audio performance for a reasonable price, which is enough to overcome some dubious marketing claims.

Good for sports. These headphones have a decently stable in-ear fit, they're wireless and small enough to carry around on your person wherever you go. Unfortunately, though functional, their in-line remote doesn't have volume controls and the module on the back of the cable may cause the earbuds to slip out of your ears during more intense physical exercises.

The true wireless Jabra Elite 3 earphones are far from exciting, but they offer a high-quality audio experience for a reasonable price.

Anker's true wireless Soundcore Life P3 earphones deliver powerful sonic performance and surprisingly good active noise cancellation for well under $100.

Good for commuting and travel. The Sony WI-1000XM2 cut out a lot of bass noise including bus and train engines. However, these earbuds aren't the most comfortable and can fall out. These headphones also reduce the noise of low rumbling engines like buses or trains. If you forget to charge your headphones, you can use also them passively with the included audio cable.

Good sports headphones. The Jabra Elite 45e are stable enough for most sports if you can find the right tip and stability fins, so the earbuds don’t come out of your ear or break the seal because of physical activity. Even if they are considered around-the-neck headphones, they have a more flexible and portable design thanks to the neckband being a thick cable instead.

The Sennheiser CX true wireless earbuds, which are definitely solid despite the lack of active noise cancellation. That's my only real grumble about these things if you want strong audio quality but particularly impressive battery life.

The Nord Buds 2 deliver good audio quality and commendable noise cancellation for their budget-friendly price, though only OnePlus phone owners can take advantage of their full range of features.
