Nier Replicant is as good as remasters get. It remains incredibly faithful to the 2010 original while smartly overhauling visuals, combat and audio. While it certainly could have done more to alleviate some of the frustration from the more tedious side quests, the overall package represents a constantly unpredictable action-adventure with an impactful and emotional story.
