The Samsung QN90C Neo QLED TV has all the hallmarks of a premium TV: best-in-class HDR brightness, ample viewing options and strong picture performance. Despite minor qualms, this is the QLED to beat this year.

Samsung’s next-best model in its Neo QLED series of TVs offers high brightness and impressive all-around video performance. And while it doesn’t hit the same performance heights as the company’s flagship QN95 series, it’s a good deal less expensive while checking off many of the same boxes from a features standpoint. With its anti-glare screen, the QN90C is a great option for daytime sports viewing, and its comprehensive gaming support also makes it a perfect choice for console- or cloud-based gaming.

The Samsung S90C is a fantastic TV for every usage. It has good SDR peak brightness, so it's great for watching TV shows or sports in a bright room, especially with its superb reflection handling. It truly shines for HDR movies and games, especially in a dark room where its OLED panel, with its deep inky blacks, truly performs at its best. The very low input lag makes it fantastic for gamers, as your inputs are translated almost instantaneously to the screen. Its superb response time makes it a great choice for fans of fast-moving content, whether sports or games, as action stays clear and crisp throughout. Sadly it doesn't support any DTS audio formats, making it tricky for a home entertainment center, and it only has adequate low-quality content smoothing, which isn't optimal for streaming services with low bitrates.

The LG OLED evo C3 is loaded with features that make it ideal for watching — or playing — anything your heart desires. You can find TVs with better sound, but there aren’t many out there that offer you this much and perform at this level for the same price.

Combined with the amazing reflection handling, the TV's high brightness makes it suitable for any room condition, from very bright rooms where its brightness sparkles to dark spaces where its OLED panel, with its perfect contrast and deep inky blacks, truly shines. Its very low input lag makes it optimal for gaming, as your inputs are translated almost instantaneously to the screen, and its superb response time makes it a great choice for any fans of fast-moving content, be it sports or games, as action stays clear and crisp throughout. It’s not 100% perfect, but the Sony Bravia XR A80K gets so much right — and has such a good-looking picture — that it’s still one of the best OLED TVs you can buy. You get superb picture quality, a robust audio system and intuitive Google TV smart interface, plus a vastly improved remote. This set is just not the best for gaming due to its input lag.

Overall, the Samsung S95C is a superb TV for any usage. Movies look amazing in a dark room thanks to its near-infinite contrast ratio, with deep uniform blacks and bright highlights, with no distracting blooming. HDR content looks incredibly vivid and lifelike thanks to its wide color gamut and high peak brightness in HDR. It's also excellent for watching shows in the day thanks to its high peak brightness and superb reflection handling, and sports look fantastic thanks to its excellent uniformity and fast response time.
