The Samsung QN90A is thinner, brighter and bolder than previous high-end LCD TVs, offering a high peak brightness and fantastic contrast. Its thinner body comes with a few caveats in the form of thinner sound and a higher center of gravity, and it only sports one full spec HDMI 2.1 port. Its fantastic picture quality makes it a massively appealing choice, especially after some price cuts.

The Samsung Q800T is a great TV for most uses. It gets bright and it has impressive reflection handling if you watch TV during the day. It's a good choice for movies due to its full-array local dimming and it doesn't have any issues upscaling 480p, 720p, or 1080p content. Unfortunately, it has some uniformity issues with visible dirty screen effect, which might bother you during sports. On the upside, it's an excellent gaming TV due to its fast response time and incredibly low input lag.

The LG QNED85 is a very good TV for most uses. It delivers a great gaming experience thanks to its low input lag and fast response time. It looks good in most viewing environments, so it's a great choice for watching movies in the dark or for watching shows during the day. It's also good for watching sports, as it has very little dirty screen effect in the center, and its wide viewing angle makes it a great choice for watching the big game with a large group of friends. It also delivers an excellent PC monitor experience, and it displays chroma 4:4:4 properly for clear text.

The Samsung The Frame is a good overall TV. It's great for watching TV shows and sports in bright rooms because it gets bright enough to fight glare, has impressive reflection handling, and it upscales lower-resolution content well. It's also good for gaming because it has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, variable refresh rate (VRR) support, and low input lag for a responsive feel. It performs well in dark rooms, thanks to its high native contrast ratio, but it lacks a local dimming feature to further improve the contrast and make highlights pop in HDR.

The Sony X90J is a great TV for most uses. It's best suited for watching movies and HDR content due to its high contrast ratio, great full-array local dimming, and high HDR brightness. It has low input lag, a fast response time, VRR support, and a 120Hz refresh rate, making it a great choice for gaming. It's good for watching TV shows or sports because it upscales lower resolution content well and gets very bright to combat glare, but its narrow viewing angles make it less ideal for watching with a big group of people.
