Made for fashion-conscious buyers rather than fitness fanatics, the Diesel On Full Guard combines an attractive design with a great screen, but is lumbered with poor stamina and is lacking key functionality, such as GPS, NFC and a heart rate monitor. For the price, you can do a lot better – you're essentially buying the brand here, rather than a leading Wear OS timepiece.

The TicWatch GTH follows in the footsteps of the superb TicWatch Pro, we had high hopes for this budget smartwatch. Unfortunately, it disappoints on most fronts, with limited features and inaccurate fitness tracking. Its standout features (skin temperature sensing and pulse oximeter) are nice add-ons, but don't make up for this watch's flawed fundamentals. If money is tight, one of Amazfit's budget smartwatches would be a better buy.
