Top PC Cases 2023

The Corsair iCUE RGB 5000x is a hulking glass beast of a case that almost has it all with good airflow, a breezy amount of space for efficient building, RGB fans, and an incredibly sleek look. However, the $200 price is rough when considering less expensive alternatives.

Although Thermaltake’s The Tower 100 isn’t the most practical case, it’s joyfully weird and doesn’t cost much.

Corsair's 4000D Airflow lives up to its name, with plenty of front-to-back cooling clearance, but it could use some more ports. Still, it's a solid value among budget ATX chassis and looks good if you kit it out carefully.

A good all round case, the Cooler Master Pi Case 40 has a durable rugged design, but messing with the GPIO pinout means you can’t use HATs.

Silverstone’s Fara R1 offers up an ATX chassis with modern, uplifting looks. It’s a good beginner’s chassis. Just don’t pack it full of high-heat hardware, as the front panel isn’t as friendly to airflow as you might expect.

The Thermaltake Level 20 is a bulky keyboard drenched in RGB. No one asked for it to be controllable by Amazon Alexa or for this amount of RGB, but it still has plenty of other features more obviously helpful for gamers, like USB Type-A and 3.5mm passthrough and quick macro recording.

ADATA's aptly named XPG Invader is an admirable, aggressive debut from a company just entering the tower-case market. Tasteful glass, just enough bling, and good airflow combine in a solid chassis.

The Phanteks Eclipse P400A, is a nice evolutionary update to an old classic, it packs in better airflow, some solid RGB fans, and a good build experience, but does little to innovate outside of that front panel.

Corsair’s iCUE 220T RGB Airflow chassis is an interesting step into a new aesthetic style for Corsair. Despite worries over intake airflow, the case performs well. But it lacks common hardware configuration support found from its competitors at this price point.

The Hummer of PC cases, Cooler Master's flagship Cosmos C700M is a titanic, RGB-bedecked beast that looks stunning built out. Downright unusual video-card and motherboard-mounting options also set it apart, but be prepared for some design quirks.
