The Roccat Burst Pro Air is a great wireless gaming mouse that limits the number of buttons and customisation options, but with no loss to performance. It has an steep price, but understandably so. If you consider too many buttons a headache and need a mouse that’s ergonomically designed and aesthetically pleasing, then this is a great option worth considering.

The Roccat Burst Core is an absurdly cheap gaming mouse with an extremely lightweight design. It may not be the most visually interesting mouse, but it features RGB lighting and a cool honeycomb pattern to at least make it a little more striking than the majority of budget peripherals. Add in a decent performance and some ace features, and the Burst Core is easily worth every penny.

The Logitech G303 is an outstanding mouse for FPS gaming. It has remarkably low click latency and a very low lift-off distance. Its CPI range is very wide, and you can adjust it precisely in increments of 50. It's very light, feels very well-built, and has good quality mouse feet that glide smoothly. It's suitable for most hand sizes using a claw grip. However, smaller hand sizes will struggle to reach all the buttons with a fingertip grip. Unfortunately, its rubber charging cable isn't very flexible and tends to curl up easily.

The BenQ ZOWIE EC1-C is a great FPS gaming mouse. It's lightweight, and it has low click latency. It also feels very well-built, and it has a comfortable, right-handed shape suitable for all grip types and nearly all hand sizes. Its paracord-like cable is much more flexible than the previous generation's rubber cable, and its mouse feet glide very smoothly on mousepads and desks. Performance-wise, its minimum lift-off distance is very low, but you can only choose between four default CPI presets within a very narrow range, and there isn't any customization software.

Attractive, adept, and affordable, the Logitech G305 Lightspeed Wireless proves that wireless gaming mice don’t have to be expensive to see you through your favorite PC games. It isn’t perfect, but it’s certainly a terrific addition to what is hopefully a new trend in wireless peripherals.

The Mad Catz B.A.T. 6+ is an impressive FPS gaming mouse. It's somewhat lightweight in its lightest configuration and feels well-built. It also has an ambidextrous shape suitable for all grip types and nearly all hand sizes, though small hands may not comfortably reach both side buttons on either side using a fingertip grip. Performance-wise, it has a low lift-off distance, very low click latency, a maximum polling rate of 2000Hz, and you can precisely adjust the CPI by increments of 50 within a very broad range. Unfortunately, the sensor on our unit is also very inconsistent, undershooting the set CPI more during faster mouse movements.

The ASUS ROG Gladius III Wireless is great for FPS gaming. It has low click latency over both a wired and receiver connection. It's somewhat lightweight and feels very well-built. It's suitable for all grip types for most hand sizes, but small hands may struggle with a claw and fingertip grip. Its charging cable is paracord-like and flexible, and its mouse feet glide smoothly on desks and mouse pads. Performance-wise, it has a very low lift-off distance and a precisely adjustable CPI within a wide range. Unfortunately, while you can reprogram most of its buttons, you can't set macros.
