The Samsung Odyssey Ark is an excellent and innovative monitor that delivers an immersive gaming and viewing experience, as well as plenty of useful and unique features. Its price, however, is not as appealing.

The Dell S2421H is a decent monitor for gaming. It has superb low input lag, meaning you can respond quickly to the action on-screen. It also has a good response time, but there's some noticeable blur behind fast-moving objects. It supports FreeSync variable refresh rate technology, which helps reduce screen tearing. Unfortunately, the relatively small screen doesn't deliver a very immersive gaming experience, and the response time at 60Hz is just okay.

The LG 32UL500-W is a good monitor overall. It has a large screen and 4k resolution that make it a good option for work and media consumption. However, it's hard to place the screen the way you like because it has terrible ergonomics. Also, glare might be an issue because it doesn't get very bright. It has low input lag and VRR support for gaming, but the response time is a bit slow, so images look a bit blurry in fast-moving scenes. Unfortunately, it can't deliver a true HDR experience due to its low HDR peak brightness.

The Lenovo Q27q-10 is a decent office monitor. The 27", 1440p screen is great for multitasking, and like most IPS monitors, the image remains accurate at an angle. It has great reflection handling, but only decent peak brightness, so glare can still be an issue in a bright room. Unfortunately, it has bad ergonomics, so a VESA mount might be necessary to place it in an ideal viewing position.

The Acer Predator CG437K has some minor flaws, but its image is super-accurate with the best contrast we've seen short of an OLED screen. Its price/performance quotient makes it a compelling choice among premium gaming monitors.

The LG 32GK650F-B is a decent display for most uses, but it's best suited for gaming. As is the case with most VA panel monitors, it looks great in a dark room and produces deep, uniform blacks, but the image degrades when viewed at an angle. It has a low input lag and a great response time, but some transitions are slow, so motion is still a bit blurry.

The Dell P2417H handles a varied set of usages decently. Most users will find its 24 inch size good, and its wide viewing angle can be quite practical. Unfortunately, its visible backlight bleed reduces the picture quality in a dark room, and it lacks most gaming-oriented features like adaptive sync. The picture quality is decent, but blacks do appear gray in a dark room.
