The BenQ Mobiuz EX2510S strikes a good balance between price and performance in the 25-inch gaming monitor category. It falls in the middle between budget and premium pricing but delivers flawless video processing, accurate color and a good image with high-end build quality.

The Alienware AW3821DW isn’t perfect, but right now, it’s the best value in 38-inch ultrawide gaming monitors. It delivers a solid gaming experience with a bright and saturated image that’s color-accurate. With premium styling and build quality, it’s sure to satisfy gamers looking for a jumbo display.

The Dell U4021QW is a good all-around monitor. The large size is well-suited to productivity or immersing yourself in a movie or game, and its exceptionally high resolution delivers a crisp image. It also has an incredible color gamut for content creators working in the sRGB color space. While its response time is fine for casual gaming, it may be too slow for serious gamers, and unfortunately, there's no VRR support.

The Dell U4919DW is a good monitor for most uses. It has great wide viewing angles, good peak brightness, and an excellent color gamut. Unfortunately, it doesn't look as good in a dark room, and gamers may be disappointed by the 60 Hz refresh rate, and lack of variable refresh rate.

The Dell S2417DG is a good monitor for mixed usage. It is very ergonomic and can be positioned to suit any taste and has very good gaming features. It does suffer however from narrow viewing angles as most TN monitors, and its picture quality does not make it a good choice for movie watching.

With its 4K resolution, HDR10 compatibility, G-Sync, and 120Hz refresh rate, the Asus ROG Swift PG27UQ feels like a monitor from the future. Its bezels may be retro-thick, but everything contained within them is impressively built. Unfortunately, without a graphics card from the future to power it, you’re going to be paying a high premium for a combination of resolution and refresh rates you can’t make good use of anytime soon. Despite the jaw-dropping beauty of HDR gaming, it would be wise to wait until we have more games that support it and more powerful GPUs to choose from before committing so large a slice of your budget to a panel like this.

The Dell Ultrasharp U2715H is a good monitor for a mixed usage. It gets bright, has decent picture quality and no major flaws. It also comes with a factory calibration that makes it slightly more accurate than average. It does have poor black uniformity though with some backlight bleed, and a higher refresh rate would be an improvement for gaming.

Alienware's first official foray into the monitor game is an incredibly stylish, lightning-fast panel that will appeal to eSports enthusiasts looking for the rare combination of a 240hz panel combined with a 1ms response times. But that group of gamers is admittedly rather niche, and with 2560x1440 panels becoming more ubiquitous, it is a hard sell to the average PC gamer.

The BenQ GL2450 features a cheap TN panel with restricted viewing angles and offers no audio support. However it has a large screen size, a fast response time, solid build-quality and excellent value for money if all you need is a basic display.
