The Corsair K65 LUX is good for gaming. This well-built keyboard is comfortable to use and comes with a wrist rest. You can fully customize the RGB backlighting and set macros to any key you want. The Cherry MX Red switches have a low actuation force, but the high pre-travel distance isn't ideal for gaming.

The Drop ALT is an excellent gaming keyboard. It's available in a wide variety of switches, so you can get the ones you prefer. It has full RGB backlighting with individually-lit keys, and every key is macro-programmable. It has low latency, though some gamers may prefer it lower. Sadly, there's no dedicated software, so you can't customize the board as easily.

The Logitech G815 is an excellent gaming keyboard that has very low-profile keys with a short pre-travel distance. It also doesn't require too much force to actuate but are a bit heavier than popular Cherry MX Brown keys. It has incredibly low latency, and its full RGB lighting looks great when playing in the dark.

If you’re willing to put in the time to adjust to the Freestyle Edge RGB, it will deliver one of the most comfortable and healthy keyboard experiences you’ve ever had. It’s kind of pricey, and there are a few minor annoyances – like the fact that the two keyboard halves can’t be disconnected from each other, and that Kinesis charges extra for glorified feet. But it’s very hard to fault the keyboard itself, which is stellar.

The Logitech G513 Carbon lands somewhere between the highest-priced and midrange mechanical gaming keyboards, and in doing so strikes a very good balance. It's far better than a midrange board, but not quite as fancy (or expensive) as a Corsair K95 and its ilk. Overall it's pretty amazing thanks to its tank-like build quality, sweet lighting customization, and excellent switches. It's an all-around excellent gaming keyboard.

Logitech's G910 Orion Spectrum is easily one of the best high-end RGB mechanical keyboards. Its macro setup is the best I've seen, and while it's made of plastic instead of aluminum like some of its competitors, the G910 Spectrum and its Romer-G switches will keep your fingers happy. And moreover, your eyes will be delighted with its gorgeous lighting.

The Corsair K70 Max is a fantastic gaming keyboard. Coming with hall-effect switches and an 8000Hz polling rate makes it a game changer and a prime choice for competitive gamers who want to level up their game. It’s well made too, and offers powerful software to boot. Just watch out for that high price.
