The Keychron K3 is good for office use. It offers good typing quality, and the Gateron Low Profile Brown switches on our unit are quiet, but your experience may vary depending on which switch you get. It's well-built and is fully compatible with both macOS and Windows. It has decent ergonomics, but it doesn't have any incline settings or a wrist rest.

The HyperX Alloy Origins is an outstanding gaming keyboard. Its linear switches are incredibly responsive and require very little force to actuate. It has excellent build quality, and its full RGB backlighting is great for dark room gaming. Although every key can be reprogrammed, it lacks dedicated macro keys for MMO games.

The Razer Huntsman V2 is a fantastic gaming keyboard, thanks to its exceptionally low latency. The Razer Linear Optical switches on our unit have a very short pre-travel distance and a light operating force, providing a very responsive feel. You can set macros to any key from directly on the board or using the Synapse 3 software. It has customizable RGB backlighting, two incline settings, and a comfortable leatherette wrist rest. However, while it feels very well-built, the larger keys wobble a bit, and some of them have a different sound and feel than the smaller keys.

The EVGA Z12 is a great gaming keyboard. You can reprogram any of its keys using the dedicated software, and there are five extra macro keys. It has RGB backlighting, but it's zone-lit and not individually lit. The rubber dome switches are light to press for a quick gaming experience, but the latency may be too high for most gamers.

The Corsair K65 RGB MINI is an outstanding gaming keyboard that feels very well-built and has remarkably low latency. It's one of Corsair's first keyboards advertised as having an 8000Hz polling rate, and we tested it at its highest polling rate according to our methodology. However, we don't test polling rates specifically. The Cherry MX Speed switches on the unit we tested have very short pre-travel and require very light force to actuate, resulting in a very responsive feel. It also has full RGB lighting, and all keys are macro-programmable. That said, the ergonomics are mediocre, as it doesn't have an included wrist rest or any adjustable incline settings.

The Drop SHIFT is a great keyboard for gaming. It has amazing latency for fast movements, and the Cherry MX Brown switches on our unit have a short pre-travel, though some other models have a much shorter one. This keyboard is remarkably well-built and has full RGB backlighting. However, it doesn't have any dedicated software, and the customization options aren't very user-friendly.

Gamers who like clicky mechanical keyboards will love the Corsair K68. It features Cherry MX Blue switches that offer very tactile and loud feedback, although it comes with red switches as well. Its actuation force and pre-travel distance are low and the keyboard feels responsive. However, it does feel a bit cheaply made due to the materials used. On the upside, it features amazing full RGB lighting.
