The Urbanears Alby look a lot like a pair of AirPods and offer decent battery life, but sound quality and connectivity issues on calls are a letdown

The House of Marley Rebel True Wireless Earbuds are made from mostly sustainable materials, but fail to distinguish themselves in terms of performance.

The JLab Go Airs herald a new age of truly affordable true wireless earbuds – but you get what you pay for with these super-cheap buds. The sound quality is too poor for us to wholeheartedly recommend them, but the Go Airs are so cheap that they could make a good pair of ‘backup’ buds to stow in your bag and forget about until you forget your main pair or they run out of battery.

The JLab JBuds Air Play tout themselves as gaming earphones. They have a low-latency mode, but they can't replace a proper gaming headset and offer only average performance as true wireless earbuds.

The Skullcandy Push serve up gobs of bass, but it’s uncontrolled and muddy. While usability and comfort are highlights, the headphones are simply average in terms of battery life, connection strength, and features. But if you want tons of bass at a low price, the Push are a solid choice.

Below-average mixed usage headphones. They aren’t the best sounding headphones, and our test unit was mismatched, which won’t be suitable for critical listening. Their design doesn’t isolate enough low frequencies for daily commuting, but their portable design makes them a decent option for sports if you use a bigger sized tip for stability at the cost of comfort. The in-ear fit might also not be comfortable for a whole work day at the office. Their poor sub-bass will make movies lack punch, and their small cable range won’t be great for watching TV or for gaming.

The JBuds Air from JLab are far from perfect, but they're one of the best bargains you'll find among true wireless earbuds.

Plantronics' noise-canceling Voyager 6200 UC wireless headphones do many things, but not well enough to warrant their high price.
