The Sony SRS-RA5000 is alright for music. With its room correction feature turned on, it has a relatively well-balanced sound profile, making it suitable for listening to a wide variety of music genres. Its well-balanced mid-range ensures vocals and lead instruments sound present in the mix. However, it struggles to reproduce low-bass, so you can't feel the deep thump and rumble typically present in bass-heavy music. That said, there's a graphic EQ and presets you can use to tweak its sound to your liking.

The OontZ Angle 3 ULTRA is disappointing for music. While its neutral mid-range ensures vocals and lead instruments are present and clear in your mixes, its sound profile almost completely lacks low-bass. Even though it can play stereo content, its soundstage is a bit uneven and it has narrow directivity, so your audio may not sound clear from all directions. On the upside, it has bass and treble sliders so you can customize its sound. Even though it can't get very loud, there aren't a lot of compression artifacts at max volume, so your audio sounds clean and pure at max volume.

The DOSS SoundBox Plus is middling for music. It lacks low-bass, so you don't feel the thump and punch in bass-heavy genres like EDM. Vocals and lead instruments are reproduced clearly, though sibilants like S and T sounds can be piercing. Unfortunately, it doesn't get very loud, and its soundstage isn't very open or spacious. It also doesn't have any sound customization features.

It has an uneven sound profile that doesn't produce a lot of low-bass, which is a bit disappointing for fans of EDM and hip-hop, and it doesn't have any EQs to help tweak its sound. It also has a narrow soundstage, so it doesn't sound very immersive. While it doesn't get very loud, it doesn't have a lot of compression artifacts at max volume.
