The HP Spectre x360 14 is a beautifully constructed 2-in-1 laptop with a vibrant 3:2 OLED touch screen to showcase your work. It has an excellent keyboard and a variety of ports for all of your accessories. Those who prioritize battery life may want to consider a non-OLED configuration, however.

The Acer Chromebook 314 is a return to the principles that made Chromebooks so appealing to many people when they first arrived.
You won’t find expensive displays, quad-core processors or touchscreens here, but what you have is a cheap device with excellent battery life that can help kids do their homework, families organise their lives, and pretty much all the basics that most people want most of the time.
It’s also lightweight and acts like a proper laptop rather than some weird hybrid. Old-school, with modern aesthetics and performance.

With a proper screen, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 would punch way above its class. This a well built portable laptop able to keep silent and efficient with daily use, while also unleashing the full-potential of the Ryzen hardware in demanding loads, without overheating or running noisy. It's such a pity Lenovo still don't configure a 100% sRGB panel on this series; with the one on offer, only the budget lower-specced models of this laptop make sense to me, and less so the other models. Up to you, though, if you're willing to sacrifice on the display for everything else.

Even though the Dell Latitude 5290 can score in many respects, it does not earn our recommendation. Businesses should not mistreat the eyes of their employees with such a bad display.
