LG B2 OLED

The LG B2 is an excellent TV overall. It's remarkable for watching movies in dark rooms thanks to its near-infinite contrast ratio with perfect blacks, and it's also excellent for watching HDR movies, but some colors don't look vivid. If you watch shows or sports in bright rooms, it's impressive as it has incredible reflection handling to fight glare from a few light sources, but it doesn't get bright enough to fight a ton of glare. It's incredible for gaming with HDMI 2.1 bandwidth on two ports, variable refresh rate (VRR) support to reduce screen tearing, low input lag, and a near-instantaneous response time for smooth motion. It's fantastic to use as a PC monitor, but OLEDs

The LG B2 OLED offers 90% of what the award-winning LG C2 OLED brings to the table, but at a lower price tag. It makes some compromises in terms of overall brightness and color accuracy — and also has the LG C2 OLED’s same issues with reflectivity — but this is otherwise a rock-solid 4K OLED TV that can be had for a reasonable price.

The LG B2 series is the company’s step-up OLED TV line, adding on gaming-friendly features such as 120Hz, VRR, ALLM, and FreeSync Premium to the impressive basic picture quality also found in the entry level LG A2 series. Like the A2 TVs, B2 sets have limited brightness compared to the best OLED models, and the built-in sound quality is just so-so. But if you want an affordable OLED TV for watching movies that’s also got game, the B2 series is the one to buy.
