Crucial P3
The Crucial P3 takes the P3 Plus’s formula and applies it to a PCIe 3.0 interface. It’s fast enough to rival older 3.0 drives and has higher capacity options at a good price. It is also very efficient and cool-running with a sufficient warranty. This would make a good secondary drive for any machine.

The Crucial P3 provides good performance in a PCI Express 3.0 NVMe SSD. Its QLC NAND flash memory keeps the P3's price down while allowing capacities up to 4TB. It's a spot-on pick for upgrading older PCs that don't support PCIe 4.0.

If you’re looking for lots of capacity without robbing a mint, then the Crucial’s P3 fills the bill. The PCIe 3 performance is very good if you don’t continually write large amounts of data, though the TBW rating is parsimonious at best.

There is little to be excited about with the P3 unless you are looking for an affordable P2 replacement that is 30% faster and comes in capacities up to 4TB. If you have PCIe 4.0 or intend to move to a system with it, the P3 is the cheap and sensible option.
