The Apple Watch 7 is basically the Watch 6 with a slightly larger screen and the ability to charge faster and unless you can find it for significantly less, nowadays your money is better spent on the Series 8. That said, it still packs a wide variety of impressive features, and remains a superb second screen for iPhone users.

It might not be the redesign some had hoped for, but the larger display really makes a difference to the Apple Watch experience on offer – and improved charging speeds are a nice touch too. There isn’t enough here for Series 6 owners to upgrade, but it’ll provide a nice change for older Apple Watch owners and those new to the wearable.

Apple's wearable continues to improve year on year. The Series 7 introduces a larger and brighter screen, further showing off why it's the best smartwatch on the market. However, the battery life is still only good for one day per charge.

Mais, est-ce suffisant pour convaincre les propriétaires de la Series 6 de passer à cette nouvelle génération ? Dans l’absolu, la réponse est non, néanmoins ses quelques améliorations seront bénéfiques pour ceux ayant des modèles anciens ou pour les consommateurs à la recherche d’une montre connectée.

Nous pouvons affirmer en toute confiance que la Series 7 est la montre la plus performante qu’Apple ait jamais fabriquée, mais cela ne rend pas son achat facile. La Series 6 continuera d’être vendue par Apple jusqu’à la sortie de son successeur “à la fin de l’année”, et sera ensuite disponible auprès de détaillants tiers. Elle continuera également à bénéficier de mises à jour logicielles pendant de nombreuses années.
Si vous pouvez trouver un modèle à prix réduit de la Watch Series 6 et que les nouvelles fonctionnalités de la Series 7 ne vous intéressent pas, alors pourquoi pas ? Malgré certaines mises à jour, la plupart des propriétaires de la Series 6 ne devraient pas ressentir le besoin de se procurer la Series 7.
E revanche, si vous possédez un ancien modèle d’Apple Watch plus ou si vous êtes nouveau dans le monde des Apple Watch alors la 7 est un excellent choix.
