The Sony FE 50mm F1.4 GM is a fantastic lens in every respect, offering a versatile focal length that can be used to shoot almost any subject. It’s an attractive option that may be less expensive than the equally impressive Sony FE 50mm F1.2, but it’s still much more expensive than similar high-quality alternatives that are available and this could be a problem for Sony.
