The Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 GM is an incredibly versatile lens that could arguably be used for more photographic genres than any other focal length. Despite some minor vignetting issues, image quality is excellent overall. And while it's certainly expensive, this lens is more than good enough to be a compelling new option for owners of A7 and A9-series cameras.

- Full-frame Lens: Covering a wide-angle perspective, this compact 35mm will pair nicely with Sony's full-frame E-mount cameras. It can also be used on APS-C format cameras where it will provide a 52.5mm equivalent focal length.
- Large Aperture: A fast f/1.8 maximum aperture provides the ability to create images with a shallow depth of field as well as work in low-light conditions.
- STM Stepping Motor: The STM autofocus motor and internal focus design provide quick and precise autofocus performance and enables accurate and silent focusing while recording videos.
- HD Nano Multilayer Coating: In order to solve the dispersion problem caused by a large aperture, this lens adopts a high-definition Nano multilayer coating to correct the dispersion difference and eliminate ghosting and flare.
- Lens Hood: Helps to minimize flare by deflecting stray light from entering the lens. The petal-shaped hood also provides additional protection to the lens from accidental impacts, bumps, or scratching.
