Sigma’s new full-frame 24-105mm f/4 zoom competes in an already well-served area of the market but immediately inspires confidence with its substantial feel and imposing front element. A broad zoom ring sits just forward of mid-barrel and requires slightly less than ninety degrees of rotation to traverse the full focal-length range.
