This acts just like a keyboard shift key, which triggers a whole new set of programmed actions on each button, considerably increasing the number of possible actions. However, smaller hands might have trouble using this mouse, and we don't recommend using it with a fingertip grip since you'll more than likely accidentally press the third-click button.
