HP’s Omen 27qs is an alluring 27-inch 1440p 240Hz monitor. It delivers good motion clarity, strong sharpness, and a bright, colorful image that’s well-suited for fast-paced competitive games. The monitor’s weak contrast ratio and disappointing performance in dark scenes makes it a bad fit for dark, gritty games, but that’s true of all similar monitors priced below $500. Gamers looking to buy a 27-inch monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate should put the Omen 27qs on their list.
