BenQ EX2780Q

The BenQ EX2780Q is an impressive monitor for gaming. It has nearly everything that gamers ask for: low response time, low input lag, high refresh rate, and support for FreeSync. Its size and resolution provide great immersion in RPGs or atmospheric games, but sadly, it's not well-suited for dark room gaming, as it has a low contrast ratio and mediocre black uniformity.

BenQ's EX2780Q is primarily a gaming monitor, but its punchy sound system and deft handling of HDR make it a winning all-around screen for general entertainment, too.

The BenQ EX2780Q is a gaming monitor fused with a professional monitor, so it’s geared up for a lot. Its combination of a color-accurate, fast-refresh IPS panel and a strong speaker offer a strong entertainment experience, but some obnoxious HDR behavior is disappointing at this price point.

The BenQ EX2780Q is a decent mainstream option thanks to solid colours and great speakers – but it's inconsistent elsewhere

The BenQ EX2780Q is an outstanding 27-inch, 1440p gaming monitor with unparalleled image and sound quality for its price. Don’t be put off by its humble 144Hz refresh rate or lackluster monitor stand. The EX2780Q will make your favorite PC games look better than ever before.
