The Lenovo Legion 7i boasts a well-built chassis, top-shelf performance, and all of the supporting features and extras that make a premium gaming laptop worth the cost. But a few shoppers may grumble that it lacks the design flair of its competitors.

If you're in the market for a premium-feeling powerful laptop that can handle everything that you can possibly throw at it, the 2022 Lenovo Legion 7i remains one of the best options for you. The pristine build quality and aesthetics, the good inputs, ergonomics and IO, the 16:10 display, and the overall balanced capabilities with demanding loads are the main selling points of this series. At the same time, there are some other aspects that you must accept before going with this one, especially concerning the temperatures under load and battery life.

I’m very pleased with this 2021 Lenovo Legion 7i.  The Legion 5 Pro already checked all my boxes, but this is a significant improvement from even that, which makes it worth the little extra for matching configurations. The performance is among the best you can get on any laptop right now, and I like the keyboard on this series, the all-metal build and the fact the screen goes all the way back. Add in the 16” QHD+ screen, and it leaves very little else to complain about. All except for the battery life, that is, especially on this Intel-based model.
