With its solid keyboard, sleek and professional design, good speakers, and ample CPU/GPU performance, the HP ZBook Studio G7 makes a strong showing as a premium workhorse portable notebook that's also capable as a multimedia powerhouse. Still, other than its cost, I have some disappointments with the G7: soldered RAM, the lack of a second NVMe bay, and less-than-robust port selection may give some buyers pause. High-quality chassis, very good DreamColor display, and plenty of performance: The ZBook Studio G7 offers more than many rivals and is currently the best mobile workstation you can get.

From heavy media editing for creatives to higher-end PC gaming, the HP ZBook Studio G7 can handle a lot of heavy tasks. Despite getting a little too hot on the lap under heavy load and fan that’s pretty loud at peak levels, this is a well rounded laptop that’s stylishly sleek and solidly built.
