Little has changed on the Dell XPS 15 series in the last few years, but the 12th-gen Intel Alder Lake hardware implemented in this XPS 15 9520 generation impacts its overall capabilities and efficiency in a significant way. You should still not get this for its sheer performance, but as long as you understand and accept its design limitations and its various quirks, this mid-2022 XPS 15 could be the right multi-purpose premium Windows laptop for you this year.
