While no laptop can be proficient in every area, the Dell XPS 15 makes a valiant effort to accomplish just that. With the exception of playing games, Dell has proven once again that it can build a laptop that appeals to (almost) everyone.

No other laptop right now comes close to offering the all-round experience of the XPS 15. It’s expensive and has a few minor flaws, but it’s absolutely worth the money.

Battery life is disappointing, especially as the XPS 15 is intended as a lightweight Ultrabook, although as a desktop replacement system it ticks more of the right boxes. It provides outstanding display quality and high-end performance at a competitive price, while still being slim and light enough to slip into a bag for the occasional business trip or weekend away.
