Despite all these positives, the Precision 3530 ultimately falls flat due to its inconsistent performance. The Xeon CPU and Quadro GPU are just too much for the mediocre heat system. The result is heavy throttling, especially in CPU performance, and a loud and aggressive fan. There are much better options that offer similar (if not better) performance that is much more consistent. HP's
