Putting a full touchscreen in a trackpad sounds like a crazy idea, but the new ScreenPad in the Asus ZenBook Pro 15 actually works. It just doesn’t make up for the rest of the ZenBook Pro’s faults.

The ZenBook Pro 15 is likely to cost a lot of money but for those with the budget this could be a great MacBook Pro alternative and rival to the Dell XPS 15.
It might not have the tiny bezels to match the Dell, but there’s still high-quality design and build here as well as a seriously impressive spec sheet.
The differentiator is the ScreenPad, which we think could genuinely be useful to a lot of users, but only time will tell on that front.

The Asus ZenBook Pro packs some decent specs for creators to play around with, but only time will tell whether the ScreenPad is useful or just a gimmick.

While there’s a lot to marvel at in terms of the ZenBook Pro’s specifications, its performance is variable during daily tasks, which makes its high asking price seem unnecessary. It’s still capable of handling editing tasks as well as gaming, but heating issues with the i9 processor keep it from its full potential.

A powerful and stylish laptop, which outclasses rivals in key areas. The second screen functionality needs more support though.
