The Acer Swift Edge is a fierce answer to Apple’s latest M2 MacBook Air models, an ultra-thin and ultra-lightweight laptop equipped with super-speedy components and a gorgeous display. The understated design and variety of physical ports make this a powerful productivity machine, held back only by a keyboard that really ought to be bigger.

The Acer Swift Edge is meant for those of you looking for a lightweight ultrabook with an awesome full-size OLED display. Acer designed this to be the lightest 16-inch laptop of the moment, and that meant some corners were cut. The build quality, IO, and inputs haven't been sacrificed, and this is overall a versatile option for everyday use and multitasking. However, it could have been better if Acer weren't chasing that lightweight medal, and instead would have put a more complex cooling module inside this chassis, as well as better speakers and a larger battery.

The Acer Swift Edge is one of the lightest 16-inch laptops I’ve ever reviewed. Not only does it weigh just 1.17kg, but it also has a decent selection of ports and a fantastic OLED 4K display.
