GLORIOUS GMMK PRO

The GLORIOUS GMMK PRO is excellent for gaming and feels incredibly well-built thanks to its all-aluminum chassis and base plate. It has RGB backlighting, macro-programmable keys, and a programmable rotary knob. The GLORIOUS Panda switches we purchased require some force to actuate, but the overall feeling is still somewhat light and responsive. However, this feel may vary if you buy it with different switches. It also has pretty low latency.

A barebones keyboard kit with a premium price, the Glorious GMMK Pro has lots of high-end features, but awful stabilizers make it a hard sell.

The GMMK Pro has earned a reputation in the DIY keyboard community for being a solid jump-off point for anyone looking to get into custom keyboards. But you have to wonder if there are less expensive ways to do it.

The Glorious GMMK Pro is an impressive mechanical keyboard when it’s built, boasting switches that are responsive and feel great as well as a very mod-friendly design that you can truly make your own. Sadly, though, some of the smaller bits are low quality, which can get in the way when you’re modding. Besides, if you’re paying a premium for something, you expect all the parts to be top quality.
