Gamers looking for an affordable wireless gaming headset with compatibility across PC, Android and a handful of major consoles should look no further than the Barracuda X. Besides providing comfort for long gaming due to a lightweight design, it provides satisfactory audio quality and battery life. Just be mindful of compromises including lack of Razer Synapse support on PC.

The Barracuda X is one of the few wireless headsets that can really serve as a near-universal multi-platform headset. It doesn’t provide the absolute best sound, but it’s clean, clear, and good enough for most players, most of the time. Given the $99 price tag, it’s also one of the best budget wireless headsets out there.

The Razer Barracuda X is a very versatile gaming headset, offering wireless support for PS5, Switch, PC and mobile, while also excelling as on-the-go headphones for music playback. However, if you’re not too fussed about its multi-platform flexibility, then you can find better audio quality and extra features elsewhere for a similar price.
