There are things that the Corsair HS65 Wireless does really well, and there are things that I really wish it did well. The sound quality just isn’t up to par with its wired counterpart. However, you’re also getting an incredibly immersive soundstage, long-range connectivity, and a 10-band EQ to fix its colored sound quality. Plus, it’s not too shabby for the price.

The Corsair HS65 Wireless is a decent wireless gaming headset at a decent price. While the device’s wireless capabilities aren’t perfect, the sound quality and the mic are both pretty good. The fit is a bit tight, but the headset is still comfortable to wear for hours at a time.

The Corsair HS65 Wireless gaming headset provides a competent surround sound audio experience on PC and Mac, as well as support for 3D Audio on PS5. With both 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.2 capabilities, you can enjoy your games wirelessly, while also being able to use the headset for music or movies when you’re not playing. The 24-hour battery ensures you can play and listen all day long. However, one of the headset’s standout features – SoundID – didn’t quite live up to the hype of a tailored audio experience when it comes to gaming.
